Mama Mia and a Piano - The September Stage

The Open Stage Dresden in September 2014

Once upon a time there was a lukewarm late summer evening in September. Numerous people came together to indulge in art and culture for the last time this month. The weather was mediocre, the o-juice delicious and the audience in a good mood – Curtain up!

It all started with Anke and Thilo alias. Art Fizz. While otherwise playing the streets of the Republic, they ventured into the cuddly interior and spoiled us with piano-violin interpretations of modern hits. A very passionate performance!

After that brought us Stephen Blaubach to laugh. He presented short texts about the Ice Bucket Challenge, questions and problems of communication over the Internet. A loose and fluffy mood arose.

Romy Möhrke. a Dresden singer-songwriter, played songs about interpersonal things. The first song was about finding a true friend and was very melancholic. The second was a blues song with a fairytale motif and told of letting go. The Last Song Open heart bribed with a warrior motif that echoed the rest of the evening (even if the mood was peaceful again later). The song was great and looked very aggressive. It describes the fear of two people for each other.

The three texts were also about fear. Annes.  The longest and most impressive Unhold. The narrator wants an evil monster to get rid of her fears and then reports on the consequences. There were many thoughts in it and anyone who has ever felt more or a few great fears can identify with it.

Benjamin Sweetmilk Presented pop songs with guitar. With Keep on running It became very melancholy. Then he played Blue eyes – a wonderfully romantic song about love!

Michael Winkler Not only gave us cell phone bags, but also texts and music. While his first text dealt with everyday wars, it was Do you know what love is? very lovely. The man sings (allegedly) always in the same tone, but has a vibrato in which cushions are superfluous, so cuddly it is ? It's a very fast song with radio influences! Before the second song, he artfully read personal ads and showed the audience the beauty of this gem! In the end, he obediently addressed the Secret – a small, sweet secret.

Annemarie She reported that she didn't understand some songs until half a year later and showed us a new, still nameless song as an example. This is about the changes that a new person makes. In the case of: All I need She was supported by Jakob on bass. In the end, she asked the important question Will you ever love me? Don't worry, Annemarie, we'll definitely love you. For Now and Forever ?

sapphires Afraid of breaking the piano, he used the anonymity of the wall in front of him to talk about his nervousness and give up a contact sign (phone numbers please contact us ? ) He played buckthorn, Jack and The last. It was very imposing buckthorn, because the sea plays a central role and the song seems very romantic. In addition, Sapphire impresses with its presence – chapeau!

Vivian He came in a white muses dress and performed two poems. Your We make me dead deals with a generation that declares problems to be a common good and ignores individuality. anagram ironically treats the excessive use of anagrams as a metaphor and shows this through a relationship.

Magnus Moon He made a plea for street art and pointed out that the current rules are rigid and harm the artists. Backed by his guitar, he sang melancholic songs about times gone by and love. A snowy forest served as a picture – wonderful!

Max drilling table moved to Rostock, but before that he played with us again! In addition to a new one, he also played some old songs and impressed us with his technique of playing the guitar lying down and partly knocking.

The conclusion was Art Fizz, which made the audience rock along with Mama Mia, among others.

And so the Open Stage ended after many small contributions ? There were a variety of artists there who triggered a lot of emotions! Thanks to everyone who was there! See you next time!
